Ultra Walking in Australia
Some years ago I started to write a history of our Centurion walks. This has now grown into a history of ultra walking in Australia. It contains
- full details of all our Centurion events
- details of all the long distance walks that predated the Centurions
- details of other ultra events in which walkershave competed with distinction, both within and outside Australia
This history will never be complete as more historical information is unearthed and as new performances are added.
A copy is attached here but beware that it is
roughly 8.5Mb in size so may take a while to download, depending on
your internet
bandwidth (last updated July 2019).
Note that it is still poorly formatted and certainly not in a
publishable form. Perhaps one day I will find the time to polish it up
and publish it.
