This page shows the complete results of all Racewalking Australia 100km Track Championships since the inaugural ones in April 2005. The idea was initially to hold RWA 100km races in conjunction with the annual Australian Centurion 24 Hour Qualifying event and see if they could attain critical mass. I am pleased to say that this has certainly been the case. Each year since then, the championships have been contested and the numbers and quality of performance are promising.

Yes, small beginnings but the first aim to make this a regular yearly event has been achieved. The next aim is to build the event in size and importance until it becomes a major championship event on our Australian calendar. It is indeed a work in progress. Well done to those many walkers who feature in this list – walking 100km on a track is no mean feat.

We also maintain a ranking list of all 100km performances done in the Racewalking Australia 100km Championships. It makes for interesting reading. For instance, did you know that Catherine Cox recorded a 100km time of 14:32:52 in 2008 and went on in that same race to reach the 100 miles in 23:54:28. That is probably the bottom line - you need to be able to reach the 100km mark in this time or under if you want to have any serious chance of reaching your 100 mile target later in the race.
